A few months back, Amazon approved and opened its platform for Pakistani Sellers for the promotion of Pakistan’s local businesses.
In a meeting, Pakistan Post's General Punjab Khawaja Imran Raza said that Pakistan Post has been officially authorized as the delivery partner of a global e-commerce giant i.e., Amazon.
This will help Pakistani businesses to be promoted. Further, he said the buyers will get to access local brands and be able to access all major markets through Amazon.
In the same meeting, Mr. Raza informed Pakistan Readymade Garments Manufacturers and Exporters Association (PRGMEA), that Pakistan Post has established an Amazon Facilitation Centre to support businesses on behalf of the Government of Pakistan.
Further, he added Pakistan is ready to take on the ground and avail of this brilliant opportunity. Concerned departments are all set to deal with the consignments to different Amazon warehouses in the world. This opportunity will be beneficial for rising Pakistan, especially after Covid-19 as e-commerce will be on rising soon.
This opportunity will lead Pakistan to promote its businesses on international grounds which will definitely be effective for economic prosperity.
