I know that in summers cold water feels like bliss, but lukewarm water is actually bliss. Lukewarm water helps in reducing weight and helps to improve metabolism, thereby improving digestion. It also eliminates toxins from the body. The best part is that you don't have to undertake much effort. All you have to do is keep an insulated bottle with you wherever you work and drink it.

The saying 'An apple a day keeps the doctor away' still stands true today. Fruits are one of the best sources of vitamins and minerals. They also remove toxins. However, avoid tinned fruits as they have more calories. Fruits are one of the best snacks to eat as they are healthy for your body and are delicious. So the next time you feel like snacking, try eating your favourite fruit!

A phrase you might have noticed in so many places, one really should take the stairs. With work cultures involving sitting at a desk for long hours, taking the stairs does actually help. It not only is a cardio exercise good for your heart, but it also helps to lose body fat. Moreover, you don't have to go to the gym or sweat too much; just climb a few floors up and down when you arrive and leave, and you're good to go.

We often try to focus so much on the outside be it exercising and clothes and stuff, but fail to recognize the importance of what we put inside our body. Controlling what you eat is one of the simplest and most effective ways to stay healthy. Try to avoid junk foods and eat fruits, dry fruits, and other healthy snacks whenever you feel like snacking.


Maintaining and adapting these ways might feel difficult but with time you get used to them. If your lifestyle allows you, try to exercise more and regularly. You have to take care of this aspect of life because no one else will. And before you know, it could be too late. After all, health really is wealth.
