If you want to stretch your hamstrings, for example, start by sitting on the floor with both legs stretched out straight, then gradually move into a squatting position while keeping those legs extended out front until they are fully bent at the knee – Do not use momentum! – and then slowly return to standing without stopping halfway through the motion.
