“Where words fail, music speaks.”
“One good thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain.”
“Music, when soft voices die, vibrates in the memory.”
Percy Bysshe Shelley
Music has always been a topic of bliss to humankind. Often when we feel low our favourite music is what lightened up our mood. Here’s presenting some of the most optimistic songs which can top your list of all-time favourites when you listen to them.
“It’s Ok” by Nightbird
Jane Kristen Marczewski is the original name of Nightbird. She rose to fame with her performance at America’s Got Talent where she first time sang her original song “It’s Ok” and ended up getting a golden buzzer from Simon Cowell. She was fighting cancer at that time but her glow and smile hid all her pains. She was a very optimistic person. One such saying of her during the performance-inspired many. She said- “You can’t wait until life isn’t hard anymore before you decide to be happy.” She even didn’t mention she was battling cancer until asked. But she said-“It’s important for everyone to know that I am so much more than all the bad things that happen to me”. She couldn’t further participate in the show due to her ailing health. Though having such great willpower and an optimistic mindset Nightbirde lost it to cancer on 19th February 2022. But she will always remain alive and everyone will remember her whenever they listen to “It’s OK”. She told her life story through it and will continue inspiring and influencing people.
“Fight Song” by Rachael Platten
Rachael Platten said, “When I wrote, “Fight Song” I was at a particular low point. I needed to remind myself to not give up, that I still believed in myself and that I still had a fight left.” And the whole theme of the song is this. If you give special attention to lyrics you will understand the song is about never giving up, proving others wrong and that you didn’t do anything wrong believing in yourself. The song is the shouting of someone saying “Wait and Watch”. It increases one’s self-confidence that I have been fighting for a long and I will keep on fighting and be strong.
“Blessings” by Hollow Coves
This song will make you why human birth is so precious. It highlights on all those gifts of nature which we take for granted. It finds beauty in them and acknowledges them as “Blessings”. It tells us to be grateful for what we have, what we naturally get just because we took birth as humans and tells us to be grateful for them. It tells us to open our eyes, not merely the eyes but the eyes of the soul, take a moment and feel how beautiful and blissful the things or phenomena which we think to be normal. You will fall in love with these things which we often count as normal and will feel how extraordinary everything around us.
